DEAR Book- Bhagat Singh

I have read the book named Bhagat Singh. This book is based on the real-life story of Bhagat Singh from his birth to the journey of fighting for freedom against the British governors and their bootlickers. In this book, there is mention of the great patriotism of Bhagat Singh that was started in his childhood when he shocked his uncle by saying that he was making a gun that he would use for killing his enemies. How did he join ‘Ashahayog Andolan’ and what was the effect of it on his life? How did he first counter the police and tackle the situation? The time when he met ‘Chandrashekhar Azad ‘and the time when the great freedom fighter Lala Lajpatrai died. And then there happened a very great incident when a bomb blast occurred in Vidhansabha Bhawan. Then the judgment was given by the court judge for Bhagat Singh, his life in prison. This book is very inspiring and filled with patriotism that bursts a volcano of fire in our hearts even today and reminds us that we have freedom from much pain, hustle, and sacrifice of our great social reformers and freedom fighters.

My DEAR Book - The Goblin’s Toyshop by Enid Blyton

Deepti Arora- X A I read this book titled “The Goblin’s Toyshop”, the very first day I got it issued by my school library. Reading such a book with various stories full of fantasy and charm was fun. When I read the very first tale of this book, I got lost in the world of pixies and fairytales so much that I could not stop myself from reading half of the book in just one day!. It was an intense pleasure to read this book and each tale had its own moral to it. By reading this book, I learned why it is always said that a reader lives a thousand lives. It indeed is true in every manner! I think we all must read a book or two in a year excluding our textbooks because it is not just about scoring grades but about gaining knowledge and skills that a book gives us. Apart from all this, the book has given me numerous lessons to understand and work on. There was a tale named “The Peculiar Boots” in which a boy used to be active and fast and he just could not cope with the elder people who ...

In this book, he narrates the story of India's rich culture, offering readers a glimpse of the lives of the people who lived during those times. The book covers various topics, including the Indus Valley Civilization, the Vedic age, the Mauryan empire, the Gupta period, and much more. I found this approach to be highly informative and engaging and what makes "Ancient India" even more fascinating is the availability of beautiful illustrations and photographs. These v...

Megha Gupta One day, my younger brother who is in 9th standard brought me a book from his school library. It was "Understanding Adolescence" by "Neerja Sharma". I haven't read this writer earlier but after looking at the title, I was getting a strong feeling that it would be very much relatable for me and it was proved true. This book is for an 11 to 18 age group of people which is written in a very simple manner. It not only focuses on how the children of this age are stressed about their physical appearances but also on their emotional changes. These days when I am feeling a quick shift in my emotions. It is proving quite helpful to me. Earlier which used to be my passion is now becoming my disinteresting thing. It is clearly stated in this book that dramatic hormonal changes are responsible for these kinds of emotions. I just love chapter  4 which is "Development of morality , values, religious and political thought as well as chapter 5 which is "T...
