National Librarian`s Day

National Librarian Day is celebrated in a variety of ways. Libraries often host events and programs, such as storytime for children, book clubs, and author talks. Librarians also give presentations about their work and the importance of libraries.

You can celebrate National Librarian Day by visiting your local library. Thank your librarian for their hard work and dedication. Learn about the services that your library offers. And, of course, check out some books!

Here are some other ways to celebrate National Librarian Day:

Donate to your local library.
Volunteer at your local library.
Spread the word about the importance of libraries on social media.
Use the hashtag #NationalLibrarianDay.
Write a letter to your librarian expressing your appreciation.
Thank you to all the librarians out there for your hard work! You make a difference in our communities.

I am proud to be a  Librarian, especially for teens.  My education gave me strong research skills, that I can use effectively in our school library with curious minds of the 21st century.

A school library is a treasure house of knowledge. It creates a taste for books after school life. gives opportunities to make the best use of our leisure time. It gives us day-to-day information about the world. teachers and students need a good library in order to keep their knowledge fresh and up to date.

Libraries play a vital role in the development of our society and country. S. R. Ranganathan, who is known as the “Father of Library Science in India”, was the first person who identified the real need for libraries and library science education in our country.
India celebrates August 12 as Librarians Day in his honour. Dr. S.R. Ranganathan formulated “Five Laws of Library Science”. They are:

1. Books are for use
2. Every reader has his/her book
3. Every book has its reader
4. Save the readers’ time
5. Libraries are growing organizations.

Let us celebrate and enjoy the day.........
